New Year New Goals
Well a New Year and time to try and get motivated!!!!!
For most of us this tends to be the hardest part of winter however the nights are begining to draw out getting dark after 5pm most nights.
We seem to focus on the weather too much where as we should be spending this negative time in becoming motivated.... Think of a new challenge and build a structured plan as to how you can best achieve this new challenge. We all need small achievable goals so try to be realistic when planning.
This week at Shiral i have spent alot of time clipping horses ready for the next phase of training with some events and outing planned.
Apache has finally been clipped and this year is sticking to a spotty theme (pictures can be seen on my face book page)
More pictures of Bespoke clips will be posted shortly.
Would you like to share with us some of your New Year aims and Goals????

A Fantastic weekend was had by all, the weather stayed dry if not a bit cold (not complaining) The Day was split into three phases.
1) A lesson on maintaining a light seat and jumping practise.
2) Trec Obstacle Training
3) Orienteering / Map work
We were split into groups and then we rotated around the three different phases within our groups.
A lot was learned, helping to highlight what we need as individuals to work on, to be able to improve and in turn raise our overall scores.
The second day was the Kelly Marks Comp which is split into different levels of ability (see www.bhs.com for more info)
Huge thanks to all involved in helping make the weekend a great success. For the next training please See Polly Lloyd Owen (facebook)
